(Senior) Risk Analyst

• Complete credit assessment of all PRC potential and existing customers and review annually (or as required); Provide credit reports to management in a timely manner;
• Work with Sales & Marketing, Finance and other applicable teams with ad-hoc assessments of lessees as required, provide risk input to all stages of transaction process (LOI, AOLA etc);
• Monitor receivables and handle default/distress cases, recommending appropriate strategy agreed by Sales and functional head. Report progress to management in a timely manner;
• Provide high quality original research for internal & external audiences, with a focus on the PRC market;
• Monitor, maintain and improve CALC’s credit risk infrastructure with a focus on the needs of the PRC market, including research on credit risk principles and models; continuous enhancement, maintenance and verification of the credit assessment model; concentration monitoring; track and manage major credit risk events and carry out related data analysis to support decision making;
• Complete KYC/compliance review of new and existing partners; work with functional head to audit and improve KYC procedures
• Perform other compliance related tasks as directed by senior management
• Other ad-hoc duties as required by functional head and senior management
• Routinely travel to meet PRC customers (and others as required), particularly distressed cases. Travel will often be at short notice.

• You have a passion for aviation in general and the airline business in particular.
• You are a Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Aviation Management.  Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of this requirement, but you must have an excellent ‘head for numbers’ and understand the basics/principles of Financial Statements.
• You will ideally have at least 2 years’ aircraft leasing experience in Risk Management or a related discipline.  Other relevant experience will be considered – in particular experience within the Risk Management function of a large financial services/banking institution.
• You are a dynamic and proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills, execution and multi-tasking ability, detail-oriented and well organized;
• You are a clear and confident communicator; Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence others for results;
• You have a good level of written and spoken English (B2 or better) fluent Mandarin speaker essential
• You are proficient in MS office, particularly Excel
