On the afternoon of 23 August, Mr. Zhang Qingwei, Secretary of the Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee, met with the CEO of China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC, 1848.HK), Mr. Mike Poon and Honeywell representatives.

On behalf of the Heilongjiang Provincial Government, Mr. Zhang expressed his full support for CALC’s aircraft recycling project in the province. During the meeting, Mr. Zhang noted that with the emergence of aircraft recycling as an industry, the aircraft recycling project, which Mr. Poon has invested in, will receive support from the provincial government in the form of policy, adding that the government is actively coordinating with the state government to build up and strengthen the project.

Mr. Zhang expressed his appreciation for Mr. Poon’s entrepreneurial spirit, and welcomed Mr. Poon’s contribution towards Heilongjiang’s economic adjustment and the promotion of the aviation industry as a strategic industry within the province.

Vice Governor, Mr. Hu Yafeng, and Harbin Municipal Party Committee Secretary, Mr. Wang Zhaoli, and other provincial and municipal officials were present at the meeting.
