China Aircraft Leasing Group Delivers First Batch of Aircraft to Lucky Air and West Air Seizing Opportunities in the Civil Aviation Market and Catering to the Buoyant Demands of Clients

Hong Kong – 1 December 2016 - China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited (“CALC” or the “Group”, SEHK stock code: 01848), the largest independent aircraft operating lessor in China, is pleased to announce that the Group has successfully delivered an Airbus A320 aircraft to Lucky Air and West Air respectively in November. The delivery is the first batch of aircraft the Group has made to the two airlines, marking the commencement of the official cooperation between CALC and HNA Group. This move not only maximizes on the opportunities presented by the fast developing aviation market in China, but also satisfies the strong demand from airline customers for new and single-aisle civil aircraft.

 

The successful delivery fulfils the Group’s Letters of Intent with Lucky Air and West Air for the lease of two respective A320 aircraft signed earlier this year. Ms. Winnie LIU, Deputy CEO and Chief Commercial Officer of CALC, commented, “The rapid development of aviation market and aviation tourism in China translates into strong demand for highly efficient civilian aircraft with a sound performance record from airlines based in western China.
