(Hong Kong, 10 October 2024) - We are excited to announce that CALC has been recognized by the Hong Kong Labour Department’s “Good Employer Charter” 2024 and received the “Good Employer Award”. This achievement highlights our dedication to creating an inclusive, supportive, and employee-centric workplace.
This is the first time CALC has participated in and received this honor. According to the Hong Kong Labour Department’s requirements, participating organizations must commit to being an employee-centric company and have implemented good HR management practices in the following four key areas:
- Employment measures that show care for employees
- Initiatives that promote work-family/personal life balance
- Employee benefits that go beyond statutory requirements
- Effective communication with employees or their organizations
Over the years, while encouraging employees to work efficiently, CALC has been dedicated to continuously enhancing their sense of professional achievement and well-being. In addition to providing basic benefits such as medical insurance and leave entitlements beyond statutory requirements, we have rolled out a series of employee wellness programs covering the above four areas. We have also introduced the “Equal Opportunities and Anti-Discrimination Policy,” established formal communication and consultation mechanisms, regularly distributed company newsletters, set up lactation rooms in the workplace, and encouraged family members to participate in the company’s corporate social responsibility activities.
